I announced live on Instagram last month that I would open a new section on the blog and it’s going to be called ‘Every Girl’s World‘. The idea is to create a space where I can share what we all go through as women. I am not a feminist but I want women to feel empowered once they open this section of my Blog Page. To be honest, I know this may sound simple but it is pretty BIG and I cannot wait to get the conversation started!
So I thought to start the section with something light. Here is a list of things we should take into consideration as women.
1.Body Type: There really is no ideal body shape, figure or size. The most important thing is to know your body type and how to work with it! There are so many ways to create an outfit that will suit your body figure. Sometimes it is down to the most simple things that make a huge difference such as wearing the right bra or choosing the right underwear, click here to watch this video.
2.Sleep: We all need to rest and sleep. This will help us function better, feel better and leave us looking even better! I know research says you need at least 8-10 hours, but if you have a tight schedule or find it hard to sleep try spending less time on your phone. This will help the brain relax more, read more here.
3.Exercise: I want to emphasise that exercise is not simply to lose weight. Regular exercise does not only make you fit and healthy, it also helps maintain your mental health. My favourite type of exercise is Zumba, I just turn on my laptop and dance away, click here to dance along!
4. Drink lots of water. This is what I am practicing every day. I hope to get to the stage where I can drink 2 liters of water per day. It is important to drink lots of water to keep you hydrated. It also helps to achieve a flawless skin
5.There is no right or wrong way to groom your body hair. Society expects women to look a certain way but the truth is, it is down to preference. However, I would personally advise that certain outfits may not look great if the underarm is full of hair.
6.No one cares about your flaws, only you do! So that thick thigh, that big leg, big lips, your forehead what else do we classify as flaws? no one cares so quit worrying. These are some of the things I was once insecure about but now I am learning to love myself more and I want to encourage you to do the same.
Finally, I just want to encourage you to treat your body with respect and do the things that will make you look and feel good. Make sure to catch more post in this section – Every girl’s world on Friday ’s at the end of every month.
See you soon,
